What is the difference between "student", an "intermediate" and a "professional" instrument?
Student-level instruments are inexpensive and affordable, making them good starting choices. They provide the same functions as other instruments, and their price is the only significant difference when compared to other models. Intermediate-level and the professional instruments are built for better tone quality and also have response characteristics that only an accomplished player can take advantage of. There is no musical advantage for an entry-level student to purchase a higher-level instrument.
